The best of Carmarthenshire fashion has been on the catwalk on the Performing Stage in Pentre Cyngor Sir Gâr at the Eisteddfod.

Saturday saw models from Carmarthenshire County Council show off fashions from independent local shops including Rigout in Llandeilo, Chess in Llandeilo, Nanette’s in Kidwelly, Catherine Blair in Llandeilo and Evans & Wilkins in Carmarthen.

Monday was the turn of markets in Carmarthenshire with children of market families in Llanelli and Carmarthen coming on stage to model children’s wear as well as adult models showing off womenswear.

Market traders whose clothes were on display included Finale and Pandora’s Box from Llanelli and Ami’s and Bo Peep from Carmarthen.

Ann Davies of Llanarthne said she was thoroughly enjoying the show and had enjoyed Saturday’s event too.

“It is lovely. Everyone has done a wonderful job. I wasn’t aware of some of the lovely clothes that markets in Carmarthenshire have to offer,” she said.
