When the Royal Mint needed some specific expert commercial legal advice, they turned to Red Kite Law’s Company and Commercial partner Paul James.

Paul is one of a small number of lawyers in Wales who has built a strong reputation in advising both public sector and private sector clients, and can claim to be an expert in providing practical, commercial legal advice to organisations of any size.

“I’m delighted to have been asked to help The Royal Mint with their legal requirements” he said.

“As clients go, you can’t get much more prestigious than The Royal Mint and I am looking forward to working with them, particularly at such an exciting time for the organisation, to support their forthcoming significant capital investment programme.”

Paul, 31, is head of Red Kite Law’s Company and Commercial department.

As well as the Royal Mint, their clients include Ceredigion County Council, the Valero Pembroke refinery and a wide range of SMEs in Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire.

Paul said: “The Company and Commercial wing of Red Kite Law is a very busy operation and I am enjoying applying my skills for the benefit of our commercial and corporate clients.”

His previous achievements include advising the Welsh Government, John Lewis, Rolls-Royce, Legal & General, Dwr Cymru Welsh Water, Careers Wales Association, Highways Agency and DVLA. For the DVLA, he acted as the lead advisor in advising the agency on their £300 million card consumables procurement.
