Plaid Cymru Llanelli have officially launched their campaign for the Westminster Election taking place next May.
At the launch, the party unveiled their local campaign slogan for the next election ‘Wales before Westminster’ ‘Llanelli before London’.
During the launch held on Saturday 23rd August in Llanelli Town Centre, the party also visited BJ’s cafe, the St.Elli shopping centre and stallholders in Llanelli Market.
Vaughan Williams, Plaid Cymru Llanelli Westminster candidate said:
“It was great for me to show my support for Llanelli Town Centre. Thank you to everyone for their kind messages of support.
The next election will provide a clear choice of two futures. All of the London based parties are answerable to their London paymasters. They have all signed up to the oppressive austerity agenda being forced onto our communities. A vote for Labour is now a vote to keep the Tories in, there is no difference between them anymore. You do not build a better country by attacking the most vulnerable in our society.
We need an MP who will always put Wales before Westminster, Llanelli before London. Only by supporting the Party of Wales can we move forward to creating a stronger and fairer nation.
Our Town clearly deserves better. Llanelli residents need and must have access to a full A+E service at Prince Philip Hospital. More needs to be done for our Town Centre in order to strengthen our economy and create additional job opportunities.
We all have our part to play in order to make a difference and create history next May.”
