Friday 26th September saw the return of two great bands to the Masons Arms Llanelli.
Trunk Shot opened the night with their super catchy brand of pop punk. I’ve seen this band live a few times and am the happy owner of their album Unwise Monkeys so I was looking forward to hearing them play some of the tracks from this. Trunk Shot were true to form and entertained with tracks including new song ‘Twisted Love’, ‘Sick of it’, ‘Loser’ and the awesome ‘Brain Bleach’ when they were joined by guest vocalist Cauley Lewis who added to the epic punk rock performance of the song as a whole. Check out my video of the track here! The last song of the set ‘ You Beautiful Bastard’ appeared to be popular amongst people in the pub too and stood out as memorable. I can’t wait to see them again on 14th November at the Masons Arms.

Headlining the night was the fabulous Truth Seeking Conspiracy again I’ve seen this band a few times in the past and I love watching their live sets. The band put on another awesome set of original tunes including a top performance of ‘Shout’. Check out my video of the song here.
Truth Seeking Conspiracy also played an epic cover of A Day To Remember’s ‘ All I want’ which included singer Charlotte involving a member of the crowd to sing the chorus of the song. The band went down well with all in the pub and feedback included-
‘I saw them in Carmarthen and they were brilliant . I saw them tonight they were brilliant. Can’t fault them. I’ll watch them anytime!’ Keith Ryan.
‘ The singer had a really strong voice and the band were fucking cool.’ Simon Donaldson.
