Out of work youngsters urged to visit job clubs

Youngsters looking for work are being urged to visit their local job club in Carmarthenshire.

Set up by Carmarthenshire Communities First team, the Kickstart clubs run from The Hub, Llanelli, on Mondays from 3-5pm.

There will be exclusive jobs available locally to Communities First cluster areas, as well as information and advice on a range of careers, courses, jobs and apprenticeships.

Experts will be on hand to offer information and guidance on preparing for a job interviews, common interview

questions and job hunting advice, to filling out application forms and CV writing.

Communities First Jobs Growth Wales Mentor, Hannah Evans, said: “If you are aged 16-24 and are having a tough time looking for work, you are not on your own; we are here to help, so please pop in.”

No appointment is necessary to attend the Kickstart clubs which are open to any local 16-24 year olds not currently in employment, education or training (NEET).
