The man who was found dead on the A48 in Carmarthenshire has been named as Andrew Lee Evans from Llanelli.
Mr Evans was reported as being seen walking eastbound on the dual carriageway.
A Police spokesperson said:
“At approximately 9.20pm on Thursday October 9th, police received a report of a male walking on the eastbound A48 near the junction with the Botanic Garden, Carmarthenshire.”
“Upon arrival the male was found dead at the scene and several motorists had stopped to assist.”
“The male who tragically died on the A48 on the evening of Thursday 9th October has been named as 30 year old Andrew Lee Evans from Llanelli.”
“Dyfed-Powys Police are keen to speak to any motorists who may have witnessed an incident on the carriageway around this time.”
