A mouth-watering display of more than 400 varieties is the centrepiece of Apple and Pear Weekend at the Garden on October 18-19.

The event is a veritable harvest festival and there’s good news for all the sweet-tooths out there, too: there will be one variety of apple that comes coated in toffee! Llanddarog WI will be on hand again to provide top-quality apple cuisine and Coles Brewery of Llanddarog will be offering tasty tipples and the chance to press your own juice – you’ll need to bring your own apples for this!

There will be plenty of fun and games too including T-shirt designing, apple-bobbing, a quiz, a trail and lots more besides.

On Sunday (19th) we’ve got the Towy Valley Vintage crank down with a fantastic display of vintage vehicles in Millennium Square, plus music in the Great Glasshouse.

So, there’s something for everyone this weekend – come along and enjoy all that’s on offer!

The Garden is open from 10.00 – 16.30 (last admission 15.30pm) for any further information please contact the Gatehouse team on 01558 667149 or by email.
