NANTGAREDIG Bridge will be closed for five days from October 27 for maintenance works. No access will be available.
It will be closed from a point 300 metres north of its junction with the B4300 for a total distance of 60 metres.
The alternative route for northbound traffic will be to travel in a southerly direction along the B4310 to its junction with the B4300. At the junction, turn right and continue in a westerly direction along the B4300 to its junction with the B4300.
At the junction, right and continue in a westerly direction along the B4300 to its junction with the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the third exit and continue in a north-easterly direction along the A40 to its junction with the roundabout.
At the roundabout, take the second exit and continue in a north-easterly direction along the A40, passing White Mill to its junction with the B4310. At the junction, turn right and continue in a southerly direction along the B4310 to return to a point north of the closure.
