Menter Cwm Gwendraeth Elli ‘Abc 123 ti a fi’ community project is up for the People’s Millions lottery TV vote
On 25th November 2014, Menter Cwm Gwendraeth Elli will make a bid for viewers’ support to win the £50,000, with the public voting by phone to decide who wins the prize. On the day of the vote, Menter Cwm Gwendraeth Elli will highlight on ITV Wales its ‘ABC 123 Ti a Fi’ project which focuses on working with parents and their pre-school children to provide basic parenting skills, including speech, language, emotional development, self-care skills and an awareness of the need for a stable home environment to enable the child to prosper.
‘The need for this service is based on feedback from previous projects which showed that many parents in some of our most deprived areas hardly ever cook any meals for themselves. It is also important to educate families to produce nutritional meals on a budget and the importance of nutrition for healthy lifestyle’
Menter Cwm Gwendraeth Elli and supporters will be filming a TV appeal with ITV Wales on Friday 14th and from now on until 25th November will be raising awareness of the public vote and encouraging people to vote on the night.
