There’s a rare opportunity to meet the brilliant author and illustrator Jackie Morris at the National Botanic Garden of Wales on Saturday December 6.
Jackie will be ‘artist in residence’ for the day in the Garden’s Gallery from 10am-4pm and will be painting, talking and signing books for fans of her wonderful work.
Her exhibition Song of the Golden Hare is on show in the gallery until January 13 and features illustrations from her book of the same name. Many of Jackie’s other stunning stories and colourful creations are on sale in the Garden Gift Shop, next to the Gallery.
Jackie is happy to answer questions about her life, work and motivation as well as sign books – either bought from the shop or brought from home – so come along and say hello and get your favourite book signed by Wales’ favourite author/illustrator.
For an insight into how she goes about creating such stunning stories and artwork, take a look at her blog which offer a rare glimpse of the artistic process.
