A pirate, a penguin, plenty of elves and (of course!) Father Christmas take centre stage in this year’s National Botanic Garden of Wales ‘Santa Spectacular’.
This annual, festive extravaganza bears all the hallmarks of being another Christmas cracker so make sure you book early for a seat at ‘The Pirate Who Stole Christmas’.
Written and choreographed by the Garden’s volunteer co-ordinator Jane Down and put on by a dedicated team of her volunteers, the 25-minute show will be performed in the unique and magical revolving Theatr Botanica.
Says Jane: “The work that our volunteers put in to our Christmas show every year never ceases to amaze. They work so hard on the story, the sets, the scenery, the costumes and, of course, the acting – they are the real stars of this show.”
‘The Pirate Who Stole Christmas’ can be seen at the National Botanic Garden on December 13-14 and 20-21. Show times are: 11.30am, 12.15pm, 1.45pm and 2.30pm each day.
There is a limited capacity so, if you want to book in advance, call 01558 667149.
Tickets to the show are £3 but normal Garden admission applies (although kids go FREE when Santa is in the Garden).
