Upcoming 12 Monkeys TV Series.

SYFY are developing a TV Series based on the 1995 film starring Bruce Willis and directed by Terry Gilliam.
The premise being that James Cole, a convict from the year 2043 is given the chance to redeem himself by going back in time to stop a deadly virus from being released by the eco-terrorist group The 12 monkeys. But for those who have seen the movie, I think can guess how that turns out! Cole will need the help of Virologist Cassandra Railly and Math Genius with mental issues Jennifer Goines… should be interesting!!
It looks almost the same, but this has been turned into a long string of episodes which I’m sure is just going to drag on. I’m not really sure how long it will last. But it will be aired on the SyFy channel on January 15 2015.
The main cast will be Aaron Stanford playing James Cole.
Amanda Schull as Cassandra Railly.
Kirk Acevedo as Rames , Coles best friend.
And Noah Bean is to play Aaron Marker, Cassandra’s lover and Political insider.
