The pilot to Agent Carter was a brilliant piece of television that expanded and enriched an already spectacular universe of stories and characters…
Which is what I’m sure I would be writing had any British TV channel bothered to pick up the broadcast rights.
Not a single broadcaster wanted a slice of the behemoth cash cow that is the Marvel Cinematic (and television) Universe. Not even Channel 4 who already air Marvel’s Agents Of S. H. I. E. L. D.
Thankfully here in the Geekly Weekly office we’ve been making our own stories up using Captain America action figures; currently Agent Carter has hijacked a Millennium Falcon that was laying around and is now somewhere in the Kitchen. More on this as it develops.
What do you think about British broadcasters passing on Agent Carter? Was it a smart move? Let us know below in the comments.
