ONLY 99 SLEEPS UNTIL AVENGERS TWO!
And we’ve also had a new trailer. The creepy Disney music is still present… And creepy. And while it’s still just speculation there’s a strong implication that Tony is the creator of Ultron within the MCU (rather than Hank Pym as is in the comics).
We see Andy Serkis as Ulysses Klaw. In the comics he’s one of the Black Panther’s main enemies, a scientist who specialises in ‘applied sonics’ and is an expert on Vibranium. He is also responsible for killing the Black Panther’s father. So does that mean Ultron is after a Vibrainium body? That would certainly explain why he has two distinct looks as well the promotional image of Cap’s broken shield, maybe it takes Vibrainium to break Vibrainium. This would obviously be where we get introduced to Black Panther (going to be played by Chadwick Boseman) and the fictional African nation of Wakanda.
We also see more of the Hulkbuster going up against the Hulk. Speculation as to why they’re fighting is high with many referring to a shot of the Hulk where he has red eyes. Could this be the beginning of Red Hulk in the MCU? Or is he under the Scarlet witch’s influence?
The key theme of the trailer seems to be about an increasing tension between the Avengers so it wouldn’t be surprising for Age of Ultron to pave the way for the Captain America 3: civil War film.
What are your thoughts? Any speculation on what’s going to happen? Let us know in the comments.
