Newsflash people! Jessica Jones is coming to Netflix.
a lonely mid-town student played by Krysten Ritter, who becomes a lone survivor in a tragic car accident where her Mother, Father and Brother sadly die. The accident occurs when an army truck crashes into them and a barrel of experimental toxic chemicals land on Jessica… I know, it sounds like Dare Devil right!
After months of lying in a coma from this she finally awakens, only to find out on a walk home from school soon after she discovers that she has abilities. These abilities include superhuman strength, invulnerability AKA bulletproof and flight, which she’s still trying to get the hang of landing!
Plot summary: After a short-lived time as her Superhero career comes to an end as Jewel AKA Knightress, she starts to rebuild her life in New York as a private detective with her husband Luke Cage AKA Iron Fist at her side played by Mike Colter, were her investigations start involving people with extraordinary abilities.
Now to the villain of the series. His name… is Purple Man. He will be played by, now get this… it’s David Tennant. Amazing right? Doctor Who playing the villain, ah ah ah! Now it seems that Purple Man used to be known as Zebediah Killgrave, a spy for Yugoslavia, who gained his power by exposure to a nerve-gas, gone terribly wrong. As this happened, it actually turned his skin purple hence the name! Because of this it gave him strange powers were his skin produces a pheromone that gives him the ability to control people’s actions. So he’s a quite a formidable enemy in that case!
Jessica Jones is said to be released for Netflix this year of 2015, but the date is unsure.
