Brrrrrr! it was cold yesterday morning at Dafen pond.
A big thank you to Jo and Veronica for turning up to help clean the place up to make it safer for the wildlife there. We spent 2 and a half hours picking rubbish up, what a mess! On the bright side the wildlife we saw were all looking well. The swans were having fun trampling through the ice to make their way around the pond! We also saw a beautiful little Goldcrest, the UK’s smallest bird but boy was it hard to photograph as it wouldn’t stay still. We are aiming to do a clean up once a month and any help anyone can give will be much appreciated. Lets not let this beautiful pond area be ruined by uncaring, inconsiderate rubbish throwing people!
