Welsh pottery, paintings and textiles take centre stage at the National Botanic Garden’s Big Easter Antiques Weekend (April 11 & 12).
The Garden provides a stunning and iconic setting for this popular event featuring more than 50 stands, all undercover inside various venues around the attraction.
There will be a huge range of stalls in the wonderful surrounds of the Great Glasshouse; inside the Regency splendour of Principality House; in Theatr Botanica; and in the Garden marquee; and there will be some rare Nantgarw porcelain on display.
Organiser Brita Rogers, of Derwen Antiques, said: “The fair will feature more than 50 stalls showcasing Welsh areas of collecting including pottery, jewellery, art and furniture. There will also be paintings and textiles – with a range of Welsh blankets on display . . . and all this for just £4 admission – that’s one price for the Garden AND the fair.”
Brita is promising a wonderful spectacle with a huge array of styles and themes – from ancient Chinese, retro 60s to Victorian, vintage and country farmhouse.
She said: “There will be militaria and collections of Moorcroft pottery. A stunning collection of exquisite French clocks and impressive Lalique glass will whet your appetite for quality antiques, whether you are a collector, trader or investor.”

The Antiques Fair runs from 10am until 6pm on Saturday April 11 and Sunday April 12. There is plenty of free parking. Admission to the Garden and the fair is just £4.
