Are you a charity, community group or social enterprise that needs support and guidance to move your ideas forward? Are looking for grant funding to develop your project proposal?

Carmarthenshire County Council’s Community Bureau team provides a one stop shop for third sector organisations with the set aim of developing and supporting sustainable communities throughout the county.

Since April 2014 the Bureau has successfully introduced a tailored and focused Key Account Management (KAM) service for the Third Sector. Key Account Organisations include existing Social Enterprises, emerging Social Enterprises, Charities, Voluntary/Community Organisations, Town and Community Councils and partnerships which can demonstrate they are strategically important to the local/rural economy, have growth plans including –  job creation, enterprise creation, innovative new project ideas and skills, training and volunteering opportunities.

The Community Bureau can assist community groups in Carmarthenshire to access up-to-date information on funding, provide grant searches, assist with governance or policy development, help with financial management and budgeting, market research, consultation, marketing, data collection, legal structures, procurement, fundraising strategies and provide invaluable business support and guidance for free.
