Classic car fans are in for a treat with a weekend of special events at the National Botanic Garden of Wales.

On Saturday April 25, International Motor Sports are holding a classic car touring event around Carmarthenshire and will be calling in at the Garden – after a trip to Pembrey race circuit.

More than 100 classic cars are booked to take part in this event which will provide a stunning display in the heart of the Garden.

On Sunday April 26, the South Wales Classic Car Club are celebrating with a “Drive-It Day” and they will be bringing 30 classic vehicles to the Garden.

Events organiser at the Garden, David Hardy said: “Classic cars and vintage vehicles always make for such a great spectacle and we know our visitors really enjoy examining the cars and talking to the owners. We have a lot more ‘classic car’ events this year at the Garden and we’re very hopeful these will prove popular as well.”

The Garden is open from 10am to 6pm with last entry at 5pm.

Admission to the Garden is £9.75 (including Gift Aid) for adults and £4.95 for children over 5.  Entry is FREE for Garden members and so is parking.
