Dear Elector,

Our UKIP campaign is progressing well, with requests for attendance at various venues to speak to people and media programmes. Certainly my Welsh Language has become more to the fore with BBC and S4C requests; the M4 is a regular run.

By the interest people are showing in contacting us by telephone and calling in at our office we are confident of a good number of votes, certainly we will increase considerably on previous polling figures. We have found many of the elderly are quite patriotic turning to vote UKIP from both Labour and Conservative, and in our door to door canvassing people are telling us “Thank you for saying what we think”.

Our Manifesto Policy Literature gives our stand on:

1. Uncontrolled Immigration

2. Controlling our Borders

3. The High Cost of Living

4. The National Health Service – and the favourite Hot Subject

5. Foreign Aid we give away to wealthy countries

We are aware that other Political opponents are keen on attacking UKIP, because we state the truth and “As it is”. UKIP does not hide behind agendas and do not make wild promises. Our manifesto is Fully Costed Independently, so we are able to substantiate our promised and assurances.

Our charge for membership of the E.U. of £55 million pounds a day can be better used in serving our needs within the United Kingdom. We want the United Kingdom back within our own control. The Development of the United States of Europe where we do not have a vote in electing the Leaders. The E.U. regulations are destroying British business and costing jobs. Look at the two richest countries in Europe for example – Norway and Switzerland are NOT members of the E.U.

The E.U. imposed Common Fisheries Policy was not contested on our Entry to the E.U. We need to restore our Fishing Industry and withdrawing from the Common Fisheries Policy, Protecting our vital coastal eco-system by ending destructive industrial fishing practices.

Local Government needs to listen to the people in giving local people the final say on major planning decisions in their areas. Give the people of Britain and the United Kingdom a fair voting system that truly reflects the number of votes cast. Westminster Elections need to be brought in line with the Regions Electoral System. There is much more I might add, this is only a short view on our comprehensive manifesto.

Kenneth Denver Rees – UKIP Parliamentary Candidate Llanelli
