With the weather taking a turn for the better Neath Port Talbot has a wave of events during May to get you in to the summer spirit and help you enjoy some the county’s most beautiful locations.
A much larger flying creature visits the historic grounds three days later on the 4th May, as Margam Park welcomes Dragon Quest. This is a fantastic opportunity for children to meet a Goblin Queen and her Dragon. Join in the Quest for a Dragon and Craft Fair in the Orangery, together with enchanted photography in the Castle. The event costs £7.50 for adults, £5.00 concessions and £24.00 for a Family ticket (2 plus 2).
If you think it’s time de-clutter and earn some cash then head up to the South Wales Miners Museum in the Afan Forest Park on the 9th May. There are a limited number of spaces available at their monthly Car Boot sale. Spaces are allocated on a first come, first served basis and can be booked by contacting the museum on 01639 851833 or by email info@south-wales-miners-museum.co.uk.
As we move to the end of May, why not pay attention to the furry friend in your life. May 31st sees the return of the Llys Nini dog show at Gnoll Country Park. There will be a number of activities for all the family to get involved in as well as your pet pooch. Car parking charges will apply with free entry to the show.
