DEDICATED Swans fans have the chance to get online and snap up passes which will guarantee them parking for home Premier League games.
Swansea Council are offering 200 priority parking passes for the Landore Park and Ride site in a brand new offer for the 2015-16 season.
The passes can be bought for £99 at www.swansea.gov.uk/swansparking. They will guarantee pass-holders space at the Landore Park and Ride site, right opposite the Liberty Stadium and within easy reach of the shops and restaurants in Morfa Retail Park.
The deal includes 19 home league matches. Cup games are not included, though the Park and Ride will be open. Details regarding opening times and number of spaces will be put online before the matches.
The offer is open now and closes at midnight on Monday 20 July 2015.
Mark Thomas, Swansea Council’s Cabinet Member for Environment and Transportation said: “This is a brand new initiative which we hope will make life easier for the fans who spend much of the season at the Stadium.
“If fans bring a car-load to a game the pass is even more value for money.”
The new passes will arrive with holders by post by 31 July and will be valid from 8 August 2015
Match day parking is available from 2 hours before kick-off, so this would mean opening from 1.00pm – 7.00pm for a 3.00pm kick-off time
Cup games are not included but we will open the Park and Ride site for cup matches. Details regarding opening times and number of spaces will be put online before the matches.
