A number of bus shelters in the Trimsaran area have been temporarily closed because of damage.
Temporary barriers have been installed around some of the shelters to prevent public access ahead of scheduled repairs and to protect public safety.
They are located at Trimsaran’s Trilwm housing estate, at the entrance to the Garden Suburbs estate, and next to the roundabout near the entrance of the leisure centre.
Perspex panels at the rear of the shelters have been damaged and some also sprayed with graffiti.
A further two shelters on the B4317 road between Trimsaran and Ffos Las, are also set for repairs.
Local member, Cllr Meryl Gravell, said: “We are very sorry for the inconvenience being caused to bus users because we do encourage people to use public transport, but our priority is to make sure the shelters are up to health and safety standards and I hope that these works are completed very shortly.”
