At 12.15am on Monday May 25 2015, Dyfed Powys police were alerted to a road traffic collision on the A485 near Peniel, Carmarthenshire.
Police along with Welsh ambulance personnel, and crews from Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue service attended. Four vehicles were found to have been involved, and the two male occupants of one vehicle sustained fatal injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene.
The road was closed, but re-opened at approximately 9.25am.
Police family liaison staff have been deployed to support both sets of families involved in this tragic incident, and Dyfed Powys police would also like to express their condolences to all those affected.
