A programme which helps women in Pembrokeshire who have suffered domestic abuse to rebuild their lives has been supported by funding from the Domestic Abuse Forum.

The Forum has given just over £2,330 to ‘The Freedom Programme’, is a twelve week series of sessions offered to women who have left an abusive relationship.

The Freedom Programme, run by Hafan Cymru and based at the One Stop Shop in Haverfordwest, was delighted to receive the money, which was presented to them at their recent open day.

Jenny Hart, chair of the Pembrokeshire Domestic Abuse Forum, said they were pleased to be able to support the Freedom Programme for a second time. “This is a vital part of helping the women to move forward,” she said.
