Two incidents of indecent exposure under investigation in Carmarthen

Dyfed-Powys Police is investigating two incidents of indecent exposure in Carmarthen town between 4pm and 11.59pm on Thursday July 2.

The first incident took place on the footpath at the rear of Maes y Dderwen shortly after 4pm. The description of the offender is as follows: white man, in his mid-twenties, slim build, wearing thick dark glasses, dark coloured baseball cap, blue tee-shirt and blue shorts. He may also have had a beard.

The second incident took place at Pentremeurig Road, between 11.40pm and 11.45pm. The offender is described as a white man, aged approx. 30, slim build, short dark hair and a beard. He was approx. 5’9” tall and wearing a blue tee-shirt and jeans.

On both occasions the indecent exposure happened to lone women.

Any witnesses , or anyone with any information, are asked to contact Carmarthen CID by calling 101. We’d like to reassure the public that incidents of this nature are rare in Carmarthen, and will be thoroughly investigated.
