Pembrokeshire County Council is seeking views on their future plans to support the health and wellbeing of people aged 50 and over.

The draft Older Person’s Strategy for Pembrokeshire aims to deliver an integrated approach to the support needs of people aged 50+.

“We want to ensure that people are not isolated and detached from their communities and have the support to remain independent and healthy for as long as possible,” said Cllr Simon Hancock, Older Persons’ Champion.

This draft strategy is seeking ways to ensure people aged 50+ have social participation, access to information, opportunities to engage in lifelong activities, are age-healthy and not discriminated against.

The engagement and consultation process begins on Monday 6th of July and finishes on Monday 17th August 2015.

Give your views by reading the documentation and completing the questionnaire on-line from Monday (6thJuly) at www.pembrokeshire.gov.uk/haveyoursay
