A Planning Inspector has dismissed an appeal against a decision by Pembrokeshire County Council to refuse a planning application for a change of use of a double garage.
The application proposed converting the garage at a property in Sutton to a self-contained family annex.
Inspector Clive Nield concluded that the proposal would be ‘detrimental to the rural character of the area and contrary to the relevant development plan policies’.
The appeal was made by Mrs Evans-Thomas.
