Youngsters aged 8-12 years will be spoilt for choice during their summer school break and autumn half term with a wide range of new and exciting activities on offer.
For those who want to create a big splash the snorkelling challenge, mini waterpolo, rookie lifeguarding, splash and slide and fun floats are guaranteed to create huge waves.
Treasure hunts, fun relays, circuit challenges, cheerleading, tri-golf, arts and crafts and crazy cookery will keep children entertained for hours, along with football, netball, hockey and raquet sports.
Our fun packed programme, delivered by trained activity leaders, also includes themed days from wacky Wednesday to odd socks days and will run until September, starting up again for the autumn half term.
Executive board member for regeneration and leisure, Cllr Meryl Gravell said: “The new Actif Club scheme provides an excellent opportunity for getting children involved in fun and learning during the school holidays. It also gives them the chance to try different activities that they may not have experienced before.”
The club is open on a Monday to Friday (exc BH) from 8.30am to 5pm. There are limited spaces available so people are urged to book early to avoid disappointment. You can book online at www.actifsirgar.co.uk/children or call Llanelli on 01554 774757, Carmarthen 01267 224700 or Ammanford 01269 594517.
