Pembrokeshire County Council has offered Mr Ian Westley the post of Chief Executive.
Mr Westley is currently the Authority’s Acting Head of Paid Service, a position he has held since the departure of the previous Chief Executive, Mr Bryn Parry-Jones, towards the end of last year.
The offer was made following a three-hour Extraordinary Meeting of the Council today (Friday, 17th July) when a shortlist of candidates was interviewed.
The post carries a salary of £130,000.
