Scarlets to face champions on opening weekend

Guinness PRO12 fixtures for 2015-16 have been announced today, up to and including Round 12, with Scarlets taking on champions Glasgow Warriors on the opening weekend at Scotstoun Stadium.

The first home game at Parc y Scarlets kicks off against the same opposition as last year as the West Wales region welcome Ulster on Saturday 12thSeptember, kick-off 3pm. Scarlets will be vying for a change of fortune on this occasion having succumbed to a 32 all draw last time round.

After a fortnight’s respite whilst the Rugby World Cup gets underway Scarlets will head to Stadio Sergio Lanfranchi in early October to take on Zebre Rugby on Sunday 4th October, kick-off 2pm (local time).

Round four, five and six see back-to-back Friday evening fixtures at Parc y Scarlets with the region taking on Leinster (16th October kick-off 7.35pm), Munster (23rd October, kick-off 7.05pm) and Newport Gwent Dragons (30thOctober, kick-off 6pm).

The last Guinness PRO12 fixture ahead of the opening rounds of the European Rugby Champions Cup see Scarlets head to the Irish capital to take on Leinster Rugby at the RDS, Friday 6th November kick-off 7.35pm.

Scarlets take on their own Italian Job in rounds eight and nine taking on Zebre at Parc y Scarlets on Sunday 29th November, kick-off 2.30pm, before heading to Stadio Monigo to take on Benetton Treviso on 4/5/6th December.

Guinness PRO12 kicks back into action after rounds three and four of the European Rugby Champions Cup with a festive feast as we welcome Ospreys to Parc y Scarlets with the home side looking to retain the South Wales Evening Post Challenge Cup after last season’s 22-10 victory at the Parc!

We kick off 2016 at BT Sport Cardiff Arms Park, Friday 1st January kick-off 5pm, before returning to Parc y Scarlets on Sunday 10th January kick-off 2.30pm to take on Irish province Connacht.
