Young people from The Point in Fishguard visited County Hall, Haverfordwest, on Thursday (13th August) as guests of the Chairman of Pembrokeshire County Council Wynne Evans.
The representative group – whose ages range between 11 and 25 and who access the services of The Point – were accompanied by the County Councillor for Fishguard North West, Councillor Pat Davies, who is Chairman of The Point’s Board of Trustees.
She, along with Councillor Evans, explained how local authorities function.
The Chairman also showed his guests the Council Chamber where the 60 Members of the Authority meet for full Council meetings.
