Kate Sherriff from Llanelli has handed over a cheque to the Wales Air Ambulance Service for £2,545. Kate took part in a sponsored Sky Dive to raise funds in memory of her brother Stephen who died tragically in an accident.

Kate said:

“Proud moment giving this cheque to these guys knowing that what I’ve raised will go towards potentially saving lives.”

“What an amazing experience going down the Swansea base today. Really friendly people. Thanks again to everyone who sponsored me or donated.”

“The final amount raised was £2,545 which is absolutely amazing!”

“All of it was raised with help from my sister Jo in Grimsby, my father raising money at work and of course all family and friends. It goes to show how much Stephen meant to people and is very much thought of to this day. Still very overwhelmed.”

“Big thanks Michael John who also fundraised for Stephen too!”
