Student Bus Passes

Students who have not received their bus passes by the weekend are being asked to contact the council’s transport section urgently.
By the end of the week the authority will have issued 5,500 student bus passes.

County transport operations manager Alwyn Evans said: “Bus passes will be arriving all over the county in the post up to Saturday. Anyone who is expecting one and does not receive one in the post should contact us immediately.

“The reasons for not getting a bus pass will include us not having been notified of a change of address or students not letting us know they are going back to school.

“They somehow think they will automatically get school travel. They have to apply by contacting 01267 228329 or 01267 228313, or email learnertravel@carmarthenshire.gov.uk”
