Carmarthenshire Libraries have joined forces with the Scarlets to take part in a reading challenge.
To be in with a chance of winning a ticket into the Scarlets v Munster match you will need to loan six books between September 21 and Saturday, October 3 from any of our libraries.
Alternatively, loan 6 items such as CDs, DVDs or spoken word can be entered into the draw which takes place on Monday, October 12.
The Six Book Challenge is an annual incentive scheme which invites people to pick six reads and record their reading in a diary in order to get a certificate. They can choose any kind of reading material such as poems, magazines, digital text and games as well as books.
The council’s executive board member for leisure, Cllr Meryl Gravell said: “This is a real fun challenge and any age can take part. Every time you read you get a bit of knowledge and every time you get a bit of knowledge you get more confident and motivated.”
The match is on Friday, October 23 at Parc y Scarlets, so don’t miss out, get on down to your local library now.
