Secondary schools across Carmarthenshire are being asked to try a competition for a chance to win a training session with the Welsh rugby squad.
The competition is being run in canteens in all secondary schools in the county until October 23 as part of a World Cup promotion.
Tickets are available from till points and the winning entry will be selected at random early in November.
Castell Howell is sponsoring the competition and pupils are given a ticket every time they buy a bottle of water.
The aim of the promotion by Carmarthenshire County Council’s catering service is to raise awareness of the importance of keeping hydrated.
Education executive board member Cllr Gareth Jones said: “This is a great opportunity for one of our schools to win a training session with the Welsh rugby squad, and I would urge all pupils to enter, the more entries that are made the higher the chance of winning.
“However, there is also a serious message here that we would like to convey, and that is the importance of keeping hydrated.
“Good luck to all Carmarthenshire secondary schools – I hope we see both one of them and our Welsh rugby team winning in this World Cup!
