Hallowe’en treats at Llanelli Market for half term

tep into Llanelli Indoor Market on Thursday (October 29) for a host of hauntingly good activities to celebrate Hallowe’en this half-term.

Timetable:

11am – Spooky story telling in front of the Teapot cafe with Llanelli library

12 noon & 2pm – pumpkin carving workshops at Mr & Mrs H Phillips fruit and vegetables stall (near the Cowell Precinct entrance)

11.30am-1.30pm – free facepainting

And a colouring in competition where you can win a family ticket to a show at the Ffwrnes theatre!

And don’t forget Retrobution’s Hallowe’en fancy dress competition closes on Saturday. To be in with a chance of winning a chart game of your choice dress up in your scariest Hallowe’en costume and have your picture taken in the shop and post it onto their Facebook page. The winner is the person with the most ‘likes’.

Carmarthenshire County Council’s executive board member responsible for the markets, Cllr David Jenkins, said: “If you’re looking for something to do this half term come down to Llanelli Market on Thursday. “Traders have lots going on to keep children entertained whilst you do your shopping!”
