URGENT maintenance is causing the temporary closure of part of the C2140 near Glanaman from a point half-a-mile south-east of its junction with the U4304 for a total distance of 490 metres in a south-easterly direction.
The closure is necessary for Carmarthenshire council to carry out urgent road works maintenance from Monday 23rd November. It will take five days to complete.
The alternative route for north-west bound traffic is to travel in a south-easterly direction along the C2140 to its junction with the U4322. At the junction, turn right and continue in a southerly direction along the U4322 to its junction with Folland Road. There turn right and continue in a westerly direction along Folland Road to its junction with the C2141. At the junction, turn right and continue in a north-westerly direction along the C2141 to its junction with the U4304. At the junction, turn right and continue in a north-easterly direction along the U4304 to its junction with the C1240. At the junction, turn right and continue in a south-easterly direction to return to a point north-west of the closure. It’s vice versa for south-east bound traffic.
