Neath Port Talbot Council’s Pan Disability Project, Bspoked Enterprises, is to host its first Christmas Fair Friday 27th November 2015.

The Bspoked Christmas Fair will be selling various festive gifts made by the Council’s training and employment project for people with disabilities or mental health issues.

The Fair will showcase the success of the project whilst also giving visitors the chance to buy a unique gift for family and friends this Christmas. Gifts on display at the fair will be from across all the projects that fall under Bspoked Enterprises. This will include products such as clocks, hand-made cards, furniture, ornaments and lots more.

The project aims to give people the chance to diversify their skills set and attain accredited qualifications to recognise their practical experience. People within the service are involved in the full process of designing, creating and selling the products that are all made from donated recyclable materials.

To add further variety to the Fair, local craft makers from the community will be in attendance to display their products. There will also be a wide selection of festive food available from mince pies to hot turkey rolls.

Cllr Ali Thomas OBE, Leader of Neath Port Talbot Council, said: “Improving outcomes and consequently improving lives for people with disabilities is one of our top priorities.”

“The Christmas Fair will be a great opportunity to show how the project is developing people’s skills and helping them to become as independent as possible.”

The fair will be open from 10am to 3pm this Friday(27th November) at Bspoked Enterprises, Monastery Road, Neath Abbey, Neath, SA10 7DR.
