Discover the fascinating story of the American GIs in Pembrokeshire during World War II at a special event at Milford Haven Library and Information Centre next week.
On Wednesday 16th December from 2pm, Gareth Mills will be discussing his new book ‘The Friendly Invasion’, which focuses on the American GIs in the county between 1943 and 1944.
Gareth is a retired head teacher who, as well as writing, volunteers at the Sunderland Trust, Pembroke Dock.
All book sale proceeds will go to the Sunderland Trust.
The event is free to attend and no booking is required.
