A brand new logo has been unveiled for the Pembrokeshire Play Partnership.
The logo was designed by 11-year-old Ethan Kettle of Pembroke, one of many children who enjoyed the national Play Day at Scolton Manor in the summer.
The competition to create a logo was open to all children who attended the Play Day. Damian Golden, who organised the event, said they had many fantastic entries – but Ethan’s design was particularly eye-catching.
“It’s not only bright and fun, but also really well thought out,” said Damian, play sufficiency officer for Pembrokeshire County Council.
“It represents a variety of different types of play – including creative, outdoor, and role-play, as well as learning through play,” he added.
The Pembrokeshire Play Partnership is made up of representatives from the public, private and the third sector, who work together to provide play opportunities for local children and young people.
