South Wales Police is continuing to search for missing 21-year-old Jordan Miers from Swansea.
Jordan was reported missing on Sunday afternoon after he did not return home following a night out with work colleagues in the city centre on Saturday night.
It is believed that he was in the car park of Toys R Us in Parc Tawe and he may have planned to walk home to Bonymaen which would have taken him along the River Tawe in the direction of the Liberty Stadium.
Jordan is around 6ft 2 inches tall, of slim build with short mousey brown hair. He was last seen wearing light blue jeans, a blue shirt under a burgundy jumper and tan leather shoes.
Jordan was seen in on CCTV in Parc Tawe at just after 10pm on Saturday and then by a member of the public shortly afterwards at Quay Parade.
Swansea city centre Chief Inspector Chris Truscott said:
“Searches have been carried out along the routes which Jordan could have taken to get home which have been supported by Jordan’s family and friends. We have utilised the police helicopter and specialist teams and further specialist resources have been deployed today to carry out a search of the river.
“This is understandably an extremely difficult time for Jordan’s family and friends and we are all deeply concerned for his wellbeing. I would again ask anyone who saw Jordan after 10pm on Saturday or who has any information to contact the police.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting occurrence number 1500468414.
