One of Scarlets’ promising young talents, Jack Condy, has been ruled out for up to 14 weeks having undergone reconstructive shoulder surgery earlier this morning.
Condy, 21, suffered the injury in Scarlets’ 27-25 defeat to Cardiff Blues in the Guinness PRO12 on New Year’s Day.
Having signed his first professional contract joining the Scarlets back in the summer of 2015 Condy has made nine appearances for the Scarlets including two appearances in the European Rugby Champions Cup campaign.
Andrew Walker, Scarlets Head of Medical, said: “Jack underwent surgery to his shoulder on Friday morning and is expected to be out for up to 14 weeks.”
