On 7th February the region’s under 18s side will go head to head with rivals Ospreys, at Llandarcy, and will do so in a brand new kit.
For the first time in their history the Scarlets women’s sides have received their own kit having previously shared with the age grade sides; all possible through the support of sponsors.
Scarlets Women’s captain and Welsh international Sioned Harries was joined at Parc y Scarlets last week by Wales Six Nations squad member Alisha Butchers and fellow teammate Jodie Evans as well as Under 18s captain and vice-captain Bethan Lewis and Carly Jones respectively.
The new kit features the logos of Mason Bros – Quarry products, Carmarthen Tyre Service, NomNom chocolate, Portfolio Financial Consultants, ExLite Logistics, Agfx.tv and Dividers Folding Partitions on the Scarlet Kooga jersey as well as Riley Sports Photography’s logo on the navy shorts.
Scarlets Women’s Head Coach Daryl Morgan said: “This is the first time in our history that the region’s women’s teams have had their own playing kit. Both teams are doing particularly well in their respective campaigns at the moment and it’s a real boost for them to receive the new kit as we enter the final stages of the WRU Regional Championship.
“On behalf of the under 18s and ladies teams I would like to extend our thanks to the sponsors for their support and welcome them to the Scarlets family.”
