WORK is progressing on the new Parry Thomas Commercial Centre in Pendine with completion expected by the end of March.
The new building will contain four kiosk style premises on the ground floor and larger commercial premises on the first floor which will be available to lease from April 2016. The building will also contain new public toilets which will replace the existing facilities.
Funding was secured from the Big Lottery’s Coastal Communities Fund, along with match funding from Carmarthenshire County Council to deliver the new Parry Thomas Centre.
Executive Board Member for Regeneration and Leisure Cllr Meryl Gravell said: “There have been some challenging weather conditions to overcome but the project is on track and I’m looking forward to the opening of the Parry Thomas Centre which will bring new businesses into the area and create job opportunities.”
As the project nears completion we are looking for tenants to occupy the building. Initial expressions of interest are being invited for the leases of the commercial units. If you would like to register your interest or if you would like further details on the units please email your enquiry to SEMathias at carmarthenshire.gov.uk
