Readers with children under five are being asked to celebrate Eric Carle’s best-selling children’s book The Very Hungry Caterpillar™ by hosting their own Giant Wiggle event.
Leading charity Action for Children is setting children’s centres, nurseries and families and friends with under-fives in West Wales a fun challenge during the week of 21st – 27th March 2016 – to raise sponsorship by bringing children together to wiggle like caterpillars in giant conga lines and encourage them to play and develop their imaginations through storytelling and creativity.
All money raised through the event will support Action for Children’s work in West Wales to help vulnerable children, young people and families in the heart of communities.
The Giant Wiggle is a fantastic opportunity for youngsters to get involved with a charity that helps other children, having fun with their friends at the same time.
TV Presenter Laura Hamilton has confirmed that she will be taking part with her kids and has asked everybody to ‘come and join in the fun!’
