Following a hugely successful first leg of the tour, the people’s favourite and one of Britain’s greatest ever comedians, Jim Davidson OBE has added a further 17 dates to his ‘Charlton Nil’ UK tour. The son of a Glaswegian father, born and bred in Charlton, this show is all about Jim’s previous experiences ranging from drummer to window cleaner via shelf stacker – coming to a theatre near you. It’s guaranteed to be the most irreverent, outrageous and truthful show of Jim’s to date.

The 2016 leg of Charlton Nil will start at Kings Lynn’s Corn Exchange on 15 January and will then travel the UK stopping at 17 venues through to the end of April. Jim said on announcing the tour: ‘I can’t wait to get back out on the road and perform again. People know what to expect when they come to see me and I can’t wait to start performing my new material and seeing the audience reaction, it’s going to be the best one yet!’

Last year proved to be a big year for Jim Davidson, starting in January when he won the most successful Celebrity Big Brother in the show’s history. In August Jim performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival for the first time in his career with his show ‘No Further Action’, focusing on the turbulent time he had during 2013. After the success of the fringe, Jim initially took his No Further Action tour on the road for a massive 54 dates across the UK; going on to extend this by an extra 10 dates due to popular demand.

No stranger to the limelight, having dominated prime time TV comedy for over a decade, Jim is not only one of the country’s best established comics, but one of the most popular stand-up comedians of all time. Alongside hosting much loved shows such as Big Break and The Generation Game, Jim’s sell-out theatre tours and pantomimes have broken box office records and received critical acclaim.

During the 80’s Jim travelled the world performing for the troops, taking his top quality entertainment to some of the most inhospitable places imaginable. For this he was made an OBE. Jim continues to support the troops through his charity ‘Care after Combat’ which provides professional assistance to the veterans and their families once they have returned home.

After a successful few years, this brilliant comedian is back where he belongs – on stage, entertaining audiences.
