Young people across Carmarthenshire are being asked to take part in an online Super Survey.
Their views are being sought on key issues that affect their lives, such as school and college life, use of public services, bullying and equality, transport and road safety.
The survey is being carried out by the county councilās Childrenās Rights and Participation Team, which has worked with managers across the authority to develop the questionnaire.
It is the first time that the council has carried out such an extensive survey of young peopleās views and opinions.
Youngsters aged between 11 and 25 are asked to get involved and let the council know what they think of various issues.
They will also have the opportunity to comment on any other issues that are important to them, or to express any concerns they may have.
The comprehensive survey will be live on the Carmarthenshire Youth website from Monday, February 22, until Friday, March 18.
Information gathered from the survey will be used to inform managers who run and deliver services, it will help towards the evaluation and planning of new services and learning opportunities.
Executive board member for youth services Cllr Gareth Jones said: āNot only will the survey results give us a baseline of young peoplesā views and opinions on life in Carmarthenshire, it will also help inform service planning and enable us to improve service delivery to respond to the identified needs of young people.ā
- Results of the survey will be available in early summer and it can be found by visitingĀ www.youthsirgar.org.uk/survey
