After a successful weekend with the Wales under 16s camp myself and Andrew Thorne returned back to a busy schedule ahead for the West Wales Raiders and West Wales Rugby League.
This week we looked at a very important topic on our agenda which was the future, this weekend West Wales Junior sides would take on East Wales in the first test of this yearÂs Junior Origin Series. During the week we headed down to ysgol gyfun dyffryn taf and Tenby green hill school to introduce rugby league to both schools, this went so well that both schools will be facing each other next Tuesday at years 9 and 10.
Another topic that needed finalising this week was looking at creating a brand new range for players, staff and supporters. Picton sports our official kit manufacturer are fantastic and are always willing to create whatever ideas we put forward, after a few hours of deciding upon the many items that everyone will be able to purchase this season, we also managed to find some time to create a smaller range for our feeder university side the War Pigs.
With such a busy weekend ahead it is fantastic too see the season finally beginning, if anyone would like to come and support either West Wales Raider or West Wales Juniors this season please download our app for more information.
