A campaign to ‘Clean for the Queen’ is to take place across the UK between March 4th and 6th in preparation for Her Majesty the Queen’s 90th birthday in April.
The event is aiming to rally an army of volunteers to help clean up their local area.
Pembrokeshire County Council will be supporting the campaign by offering help to local groups wishing to organise their own clean up.
With the assistance of Keep Wales Tidy , the Council can provide equipment such as litter tongs, gloves, high-visibility vests and specially designed bags to help you tidy up your community.
We can also arrange the collection of the bags once the pick has finished.
If you want to support the campaign but can’t take part between 4th and 6th March, you are still welcome to participate at another time and a place convenient to you.
For more information on the event, view www.cleanforthequeen.co.uk or contact the County Council on 01437 764551.
